Tupu-ā-nuku is one of the nine stars of the Matariki cluster. All profits from our Matariki Collection sales go to support our te reo Māori programme in learning communities across Aotearoa New Zealand. We thank you for your contribution to revitalising te reo Māori for our tamariki mokopuna and their kaiako. Ko Tupu-ā-nuku te whetū e hono ana ki ngā kai e tupu ana kei roto i te whenua haumako nei. He tohu anō ki te pātaka kai o Rongomātāne rāua ko Haumia-tiketike. Tupu-ā-nuku connects to food sources growing in the fertile soil that we harvest to eat. She’s also a sign of the rich pantry of kai cared for by Rongomātāne and Haumia-tiketike.
